I have long been a lover of chai flavor profiles. The warmth, complexity, and nuance to be cultivated in the chai landscape inspires my creative palate.
In curating our Golden Comfort line of turmeric-based lattes (powdered blends to be prepared with the hot milk of your choosing), that flavor is a reality in three variations: Naked Blend (the basis of all three), plus Focus and Sleep Blends.
You can use any kind of milk you prefer to make Golden Comfort. I tend to favor almond milk as it has the best mouth feel, nice and creamy with some natural sweetness; not to mention that it is alkaline to further aid in reflux relief. Keep in mind that the milk you choose will affect your experience, so experiment – there is so much to choose from.
I’m excited for you to explore and discover what personalized preparations attain your own perfect Golden Cup of Comfort! Is it a little added sweetness by way of a touch of quality maple syrup or a dollop of local honey? A splash of woody caramel in a bit of real vanilla? The warmth of added cinnamon sprinkled on top? I am personally loving our new Focus Blend, which incorporates several functional mushrooms with known therapeutic properties, long a fascination of mine in the kitchen. This careful selection of functional mushrooms comes together to support cognition and boost my focus.
While I do love it prepared in steaming hot almond milk, sipping the soothing latte as my morning takes shape, my own path of exploration took me to an unexpectedly delightful place –my favorite “hack” is to make oatmeal for breakfast using the Focus Blend!
Plain oatmeal is, well, rather plain; but with a few additions you, too, can easily make chef-worthy oatmeal and dial up the nutritional and soothing value, as well.
